Coleman is a native of Blackpool Lancashire. She was the head girl of Arnold School, Blackpool and was awarded straight A's on her A level. In response to questions about her Emmerdale character she stated she regretted that she did not have the typical university experience. The 2009 British Soap Awards she was awarded for the Best Actress Sexiest Female and the Best Dramatic Performance category. Coleman was nominated for Best Actress from the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who made it clear at a press conference held on the 21st march 2012, that Coleman would be replacing Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat claimed that he selected Coleman for the role of companion because she could work best with Smith. In addition, Moffat noted that she spoke faster than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Since 1987, she's participated in TV and film projects. But, she's more known for TV projects as opposed to films. Eva played many roles on television, but two stand out: the Dr. Maria Santos' role in All My Children as well as the character of Detective Natalia Boavistas which was in CSI Miami. It was the former that earned Eva two nominations for the 'Daytime Emmy.' She also got to show off her artistic side by performing music.
