BrieBrianne Sidonie Desaulniers (born October 1st, 1989) is professionally known as Brie Larson is an American actress. Known for her supporting roles in comedies in her teens and has since branched out into leading roles in independent films as well as blockbusters. Larson was awarded numerous awards which include the Academy Award. A Golden Globe Award. Time magazine named Larson as one of the top 100 people around the world in the year 2019. Larson was admitted at age 6 to American Conservatory Theater's education program. Her acting career started in 1998 when she was featured in a sketch comedy on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. After appearing on Raising Dad in 2001, Larson briefly pursued a musical career. The album, Finally out of P.E. was her first album. in 2005. Larson subsequently played parts in comedy films Hoot (2006) as well as Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010), and 21 Jump Street (2012), and appeared as an unassuming teenager in the television series United States of Tara (2009-2011).Her breakthrough came with a leading part in the acclaimed independent drama Short Term 12 (2013) in which she would take on supporting parts in the romance The Spectacular Now (2013) as well as the comedy Trainwreck (2015).
